One Thousand Days!

According to Grandpa, who always knows these kinds of things, the twins are 1,000 days old today, each!  Ha!

Well done walkers :-)

This fearsome five walked 200 miles* last Saturday, all the way from Keswick to Barrow! Hurrah!

Walking so far is obviously pretty crazy indeed, but only real nutters would leave the lovely Lake District town of Keswick and intentionally end up in Barrow - and all for a plate of peas. Well done, everyone! :-)


UPDATE:  I found out recently that this picture was taken by my cousin Anthony - sorry Anthony!  It's a very good photograph!

A Weekend Away

We've had a lovely few days in sunny Stockport with the Walton clan celebrating JJ's First Holy Communion and JAaron's Confirmation (very important and beautiful Sacraments in the life of a Catholic).

The short film above is of Violet and Ivy playing in Grandma & Grandpa's living room. Ivy has taken to pulling her elder sister's hair (it is very lovely and soft) but on this occasion Violet narrowly escaped, as you'll see.

I'm so sorry about the long delay in posting. I'd like to say that I've been too busy working hard but, alas, no. The girls will be ten months old on Sunday; we hope to have some photographs of the last month up by then.

By the way, I hope you've all got tickets for the most anticipated concert of the millenium: A Way With Words featuring the beautiful voice of Nicholas Bennett.
